"A sustainability report is a report published by a company or organization about the economic, environmental and social impacts caused by its everyday activities. A sustainability report also presents the organization's values and governance model, and demonstrates the link between its strategy and its commitment to a sustainable global economy.” (Global Reporting Initiative).
The annual Sustainable Development Goals Report provides an overview of the world’s implementation efforts to date, highlighting areas of progress and areas where more action needs to be taken to ensure no one is left behind. Projected Achievements of the Goals
With the current social performances along the measurements of the country's progress in the economic goals and environmental practices, the prospected achievements of the SDGs by 2030 are promising in some areas and lacking in others. The following study is a prediction based on the current practices. You will notice how SDG 17, partnerships, as collaborations, cooperations, cross-sector and shared values solutions are essential to make a difference in these predictions and trends. The Global Reporting Initiative report, Measuring Impact: How Business Accelerates the Sustainable Development Goals, provides an analysis on how governments are engaging with the private sector, and how business tools, impact measurement and sustainability reporting can be leveraged to measure, monitor and accelerate business contributions to the Global Goals. |
